The Lawn

Lawns are fantastic, flexible spaces for people to use in all sorts of ways: Sit and have a picnic, play games, lie on your back and look at the clouds or watch the birds.

To make the lawn better for wildlife we make sure we leave some areas unmown through most of the year. This allows wildflowers to bloom which is great for pollinators and the long grass is a good hiding place for little creatures.

Our lawn has a beautiful mature variegated Sycamore in the middle which provides roosting for birds and shade for the garden
